Smoky Cheddar Dip

INGREDIENTS:

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly (this gets rid of the raw flour taste).
  2. Slowly pour in the warm milk and beer, whisking until smooth. Cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Stir in Rub with Love Toasted Shallot Mustard and Smoky BBQ rub. Keep whisking!
  4. Lower the heat and gradually add in the shredded cheddar, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. If it’s too thick, splash in a little more milk or beer to loosen it up.
